Hola Familia Coma estamos?
Fisrt things first i am obviously going to tell you the news I am getting a new companion tomorrow he is Latino too lol he is from El Salvador and his name is Elder Rivas if you can look him up lol i am a bit nervous lol no more even being able to think in English lol so that will be fun for me lol But you didn't receive any of my pictures?? Seriously i sent a lot, did you see the beach? Tell me if you didn't and i will resend them next week with pictures of me and my new companion lol !! Man i am a bit nervous i am staying in this sector with him lol so i will run everything obviously !!! Crazy right, my companion is going to Antofagasta! I officially broke the 6 months and its tradition for all missionaries here to burn one of your ties in which my companion told me to burn that one so i did lol. That was pretty fun i saved a little bit of it for memories and put it into a bag. But the 4 and a half months here with my companion really really went by quickly geese! I only got to do what i just did 3 more times crazy! My companion Elder Rodee only has 5 more transfers so he will be home before he knows it! Ha ha mom i like the cape theory lol i was asking my companion if he has had many stories like these ones from his other sectors and he said not as many as we have had together during his whole mission so that is pretty awesome for me to think about! We had a baptism as you can see it was the last one of the month to achieve our goal as missionaries. We needed 24 for all of our sector and that one was number 24 so that was cool. All his family is strict Jehovahs witness and lets just say from the first time we taught him we gave him a baptism commitment and he said i wont get baptized into your church i just heard you had prophets and i wanted to hear more about it. Then at his baptism after like 2 and a half months of teaching him he said who would of thought i would be here in all white getting baptized! And all his family came mom dad and brother who are from the other religion and we are teaching them next!So that was awesome! He is going to to be a great member i gave a talk at his baptism without notes and also i confirmed him a member and gave him the holy ghost in sacrament meeting in front of everyone which was a bit scary but it went very well. I am hoping our bud Nestor gets baptized before the 15 that was the plan so we are working with him a lot. We did 210 contacts this week which was our goal and that is the must that we have ever done. It felt like a ton wow. Last week i forgot to mention i did a transfer for one day only with Elder Derrington you get that picture?? He is awesome me and him got a long great! I am still a bit nervous for transfers lol but it will be nice for a change. Mom i am glad that fanny pack worked well for ya! Lol i hoped some one would use it ha ha I am still eagerly waiting for this Easter basket lol i am waiting with patience. If you can find like cds that like have teachings of Spanish and are cheap by it cause i would like something like that if you can find some that are cheap in the afternoon that would be sweet to listen to if you can find a cd like that or hymns in Spanish that would be cool.!! I am totally fluent with Spanish now i still have trouble talking in the tu and vos from because we can only speak in the usted form so i am working on the tu form cause that is what you say for blessings and prayers! But i can speak very well in the usted and all the others!! I memorize a lot of vocabulary everyday which helps me out a ton!But yeah see if you can find cds! Dallen that is funny you still work with Gary lol ill show you some real spiders when i get home lol. You dont even know what spiders are lol Bertney with 2 new jobs, stay away from waterworld boys ok lol!! I am serious lol but that does sound like a lot of fun! I am doing well with all things Spanish people tell me i have a beautiful accent and i am progressing well this girl in our ward was like hey you like rap right and i was like yeah why and she played on her phone i kissed a girl and i liked it and i was so angry lol i was like you have no idea how long it took me to get that song out of my head lol i said turn that off now lol Ill let you know more about the new companion and all next week. But all is well!!

How are we all doing?? Question where did Bradley serve again? English or or another language. Why was he depressed, you got to always be happy when you are a servant of the Lord. I wonder why he felt that way. If he had to learn Spanish and had a hard time with it than i can see why because my oh my can it be depressing lol its almost impossible to explain yourself or even talk sometimes in Spanish so i can see why it would make you learn to deal with depression, if i didn't have a north American as my companion i would be a bit depressed. But yeah did he tell some good stories about his mission?? That's funny you said that bitty i was thinking about the same thing as you all. I wish i would have spent a little more time with all of you everyday i felt really sad the other day when a elder said that and i was thinking i wish i could have done more with the family! I definitely can see the whole picture now that i am away from everything !!! That's great about Darren going to go on the mission i am not going to see him for a very long time like almost 3 years !! How is Austin doing with his papers he is 19!! Anthony turned 19 too if you see him say happy birthday that is weird he is 19 wow. Dallen, i am really jealous of you punk. Sounds like you had quite the bday i am very proud and happy for you my big 14 year old lol wow that's weird your growing old on me!!! I am glad Jeana's Wedding went well !! Elder Smith has already visited you guys lol that is awesome lol I BET THAT WAS SO GREAT TO SEE HIM! I want to return here after the mission the beaches are awesome, i went to the beach today and i have a few cool picks of it. I hope that makes you all a bit jealous of me lol. Tomorrow i will complete 6 months !! Crazy sauce right. I cant believe it. We are going to eat pizza that is for sure!!!! Man dall you got the wii i am sure the rest of the family is very jealous of you!! Ha ha OK and now whats going on with Elder Eddenfield, I don't know if i am just in the sector at the right time or what but i got another crazy awesome experience for ya!! I will tell you it last first things first That's funny you asked dad i gave a talk yesterday in church actually lol I gave it on the power of prayer i even said a joke, I said, I was thinking really hard about who are the happiest people in the world and than i said the missionaries, because they pray the most lol and they laughed haha I have 6 months under my belt right about now!! That's right it is going by quickly. We have cambios in 7 days!! That's crazy i will be getting a change this time!! We have a baptism this Saturday! He will be an amazing convert. Again happy bday dall. And now the story, we decided just to do random contacting on a street we have never contacted before, since we had a lot of extra time and we had not planned anything to do for that time of the day lol so yeah we decided to achieve are goal of 140 contacts for the week. We first started at a apartment complex because it is close together and we can get them done quickly, but after 2 doors my companion didn't feel good about contacting that area so for some reason we changed to another street. We skipped a few streets and decided just to start on a random street called sur 1 so we were contacting this door on the side street at like 8 at night and there was a family across the street in which had 4 girls little girls and mom and dad. The dad was under the car fixing something i am not sure what, but they were in a gate that was in front of there house. At the top of the gate it was spiked so no one can sneak over. One would have to cut themselves to get over it and it was like 7 feet high. And as we were across the street all of a sudden we heard a little bit of a smash and a bunch of girls screaming and i guy screaming and the wood that was under the tire broke and the guy fixing the car under it got smashed with his hand smashed against his body. We were not sure what was going on but after i heard the screaming a ran across the street, with out even thinking i hopped up that pointed sharp fence that at the time it didn't even matter to me, and the little girls obviously could not lift the nice size car that was definatley a bit bigger than my Honda back home and don't ask how but i grabbed that car and lifted it just enough for that guy to squeeze out! I mean that car had to have been a ton and i know i could not have lifted it alone but something obviously gave me that strength to lift that car so that man could get out!!!! My heart was pounding and they were all screaming. The guys hands were all bloody from the car smashing them to his body but he got out ok and only his hands were bleeding. The crazy thing is though i was so worried about helping him and saving his life i did not care to look 10 feet down the fence to see that there gate was open on the other side!! For them it made the rescue so much better and meaningful because that fence is not meant to be jumped and i did it with out even thinking to help them. No one had tried getting over it before. They obviously excepted a lesson from us and we will teach them during this week! I am very amazed how the Lord helps his servants. I never thought i would really be able to hop 7 feet spiked fence and lift a ton. My heart was pounding that hole night and my back was hurting but it was a great experience for me that i will never ever forgot. So that is my testimony and wow it was such an amazing experience. Next time i will look at the surroundings and go through the door lol but i know if there was no door i still would not hesitate even with the backpack on my back!! I love you all and i hope you have the best day ever.

How are we doing today, man the weeks are just starting to fly by 2 more weeks until cambios crazy right I can hardly believe it. I am glad you enjoyed to my package, each birthday I will send one ok lol. This computer rights in Spanish a lot so it a word is like weird or doesn’t make sense it is because the computer changes it ok! And no mother our president doesn’t get to hear all these stories but I write him every week on email but it takes up the time I have to email the family so I would rather just right them to you quickly to you in English and not take up all the time writing it in Spanish to him lol. I still cant believe how fast this week went by! Dallen I know you boy you pulled that fire alarm on purpose didn’t you lol jk, but that is quite a funny story. Krystal Scott you should have gotten free Scandia and also for them to pay for your window! Which car was it? Yours or Scotty? My companions name is Scotty too lol he says he is the only Scotty 2 hottie lol so that sounds like a challenge for Scott lol. Dad if I had my scriptures on me I would give you the scripture to tell Eugene but I don’t! Look in the doctrine and covenants search for baptisms there is a scripture that says it doesn’t matter how many times you have been baptized it profits you nothing if it is not by the right authority. I wish I had the scripture on me so I could just tell you . It explains it good in the heading of the scripture. Man I wish I had my scriptures now lol. Don’t let him get baptized lol I am going to do the missionary work for him, I got every scripture marked that is already prepared for him the day I return lol. Dallen I love the list of things were going to do when I return don’t forget to add swimming and MOVIES I miss movies so much they always play them in front of us and it kills me lol I never watch them though. Now stuff from the week! First off Happy bday for dallen this week!! I am glad I will be home before his 16 bday to do the regulating lol I thought about that cause my companion has a brother who just turned 16 lol. I placed a baptism date that is set on our investigator Erik, he will be a very good member of our church, his family is all Jehovahs witnesses and he left them for our church!! He knows so much about the bible lol so we always teach him in the book of mormon lol but he is going to be baptized the 28th!! Usually we only have like 40 people in our ward and we had 55 people from our investigators and less active member coming and the ward was like, wow we can just see from how many people that are coming to church that you 2 have been working hard, the fruits of your work is amazing so we were happy to hear that! There was a person who came because of us his name is hermano Victor, his parents have converted 100 people into the church and yet he never believed the church was true. Had not been to church since his baptism at 8 years old. He is racist against Gringos also and all of this we changed he is 40 years old and his x wife also is racist. They don’t like that our church was formed in the US cause they have all the money and what not but he came to church and loved it so that was amazing. His dad came to us an was like what did you do to him? I have tried for 32 years and nothing and all of a sudden he is going to church lol So that was sweet. My companion was sick for one of our days so he was in bed all morning and we could not work for a morning and I took a picture of him sleeping cause it was boring doing gym alone early in the morning by myself lol. He is all better now. Dad I was fighting my companion on you being the happiest person in the world I fought him a long time on it but there is one person here that definitely would give you a run for your money lol His he a member and his wife has been in a wheel chair for years an he is like 75 and I mean he has to do everything for her and she has such an attitude and I don’t know how he does it but he is always so happy and singing hymns out loud every time we visit them lol haha so we thought that was funny. We did cambios for a day and I was with another Gringo elder Haake for a day and he has a year out and his Spanish still is not very good so I felt bad for him cause he has had all Latino companions so I didn’t know how he could not speak well. But we tared it up together we taught a lot and got a family who wanted to get sealed in the temple in 1 year so that was awesome. I don’t have much more than that but I am very good just working and working and trying to get the best out of everyday. What ever you do do not let Chuck get baptized lol, I will settle that with him when I get home lol. But I am glad all of you loved your gifts and I hope you all have the best day that you have ever had lol. I love you so very much. Oh yeah a couple more things, The pictures with the scarf thing was a gift from hermano Victor the one that came to church that his parents were so surprised lol and the pictures of my companion with the flame is him burning pictures of the girl that dear johnned him a few months ago lol i though it was pretty funny

Hola Hola Hola mi familia!
Wow do i have some stories to to tell all of you lol but as always first things first, yes i am doing good! Yes it is still very very hot here! Has not gotten any colder but it doesn't matter that wont slow me down ¡ Yes Dad i feel pretty comfortable i could do a sector by myself right now, but as always there are a million of words that i don't know so it would be a good idea foe me to wait 2 more cambios until i learn enough vocab for everything. But i know enough and can speak well enough still i don't have full confidence in my Spanish but i can definitely teach well and make my point. Once i get a Latino companion for 2 transfers i will be ready so that i can learn a lot of new phrases. But yeah i am good there. Brito and Gala lol sounds like you are braking another guys Heart lol that is a very good thing keep it up and stay away lol until i get home to be the judge. Elder Hill was asking about brittany today lol he said he wants to write you today lol. Dallen good job with the basketball and bowling and ping pong. As always dream of reaching your brothers level lol jk, i have been playing a lot of soccer and ping pong, those are the most popular sports here so that's what we always do which is fine with me. Bet i received a setter from Lucas Hansen today which was nice he seems like he has some stories to tell lol he is definitely doing the work for 2 years lol, Kim wrote me and Pamela from eskaton lol that that was nice. I hope you get my package now i am excited to recieve your letters soon! Fun time you ready for the misión news
By the way i met the elder that lives in Rocklin that knows Scotty lol he has a big smile always lol its jaja in spanish but he is a nice kid. Elder Schillenburg or something like that. We had our 3rd zone conference and i could understand way more stuff than the first 2. General conference was really good i could understand everything which was greatl. I Gave 5 DIFFERENT BLESSINGS lol every single person this week asked me to do the blessings lol so that was quite the experiences for me got too really inspirational stories from this. One of our converts looked so bad could barely see and had blotches of red all over her body and just looked like a different person i gave her a blessing which the doctor said a week she would be better. I told her 2 days and she was healed on the second day ¡ And now the grand one, We went to our investigators house in which there are members that live there the member is suppose to have her baby in 2 days. from the time we entered her house she was talking with us in Spanish saying that she had not felt her baby in a whole day! That she was pretty sure it had died and the family looked very very sad. She looked at me and said can you give me this blessing that i need. I was a bit nervous when i heard this obviously and i looked at my companion and was like did i hear what is going on correctly and he told me in English so that they could not hear,” Yes you did, you have to bring back to life this baby.” Said Elder Rodee i said to her are you sure? which means i will go i will do. I blessed her to have the baby back and that she could have a new member in her family. When she went to the doctors right then, she felt the baby and she is having the kid today we hear! If that doesn't show the tender mercy's of the Lord i don't know what does. He brought that baby back through our faith. I was so happy and nervous at the same time! But that was definitely a experience i will never forget. I bet you can Picture how nervous i was in this situation not knowing anything beforehand and just going and doing like Nephi. So Yeah those are my stories for the week i hope you enjoyed them! Today for pday we played soccer and ping pong lol

I hope every one of you is doing just great, I am very curious right about now
for the Easter present lol I am really beginning to look forward to it lol, have
you received my package yet? Sounds like Grandpa and Grandma are really hooking
me up! They are always good with spoiling us  There awesome! When is Easter by
the way I have no idea and what day is mothers day exactly so I can write them
down But sounds like everyone is doing good britt beating the girls up pretty
badly even with one arm that’s the britt I know! Dallen kicking butt at
bowling that ta boy and dallen you know your little wrestling, I will always be
able to take you down boy lol don’t you ever forget that lol. That’s awesome that Jessica is serving a mission! I can see her being a very good missionary!! Definitely. Wow Bradly is coming home it actually seems like he has been out for a really long time! I bet he is excited, he still writing that one girl?? Lol but today was a great week in some aspects lol lets see Tuesday we visited two different family's in our ward for a little family
night to teach them and the first one just decided to feed us dinner and we were
already full at this point and we seriously ate so much 2 servings of ice cream
and 3 hamburgers 2 hot dogs each so we were stuffed and to our surprise we were so
full it was hard to walk lol, but little did we know that our next appointment
they decided to do the same thing as the last family lol and my oh my were we
sweating and dying, they looked at us like we didn’t like it lol and it was
really really good and we explained to them what had happened and they starting
laughing cause we ate all there food lol we didn’t feel so good after that
lol!! I started waking up 10 minutes early everyday so I can get a little better
workout in the morning and have more time to prepare and study which I like a
lot !! Our goal this week was to find only less active member as our zone and no
searching for new investigators and in one week we were able to find 11 less
activos and almost all of them promised us to come to church this week!! Awesome
right. Really my favorite thing about the mission now is being able to see our
work progress in the ward, the ward was small when I got here and now we got
like 12 more people who come and to see our new members and our reactivated
members take and even bless the sacrament is such a blessing. They say the
prayers in sacrament meeting and even go up to bare there testimonies! One of
them received a calling to be one of the high priest counselors! In just 3 weeks
of assisting lol awesome right lol. We have a guy who was baptized when he was 8
and never ever went to church in his life, he didn't like our church for many
reasons he has 40 years of age and from the first time we talked to him he had
no hope of ever coming to church he was positive about his beliefs and lets just
say he came to church for his first time in 32 years and loved it and wants to
come again! That is definitely the highlight of the week for sure it was amazing
I hope you all are doing the same and helping others.(If I had, I would give)
Always help others you never know what I little testimony can do, by small and
simple things are great things come to past, right

Hello My family how are we all doing today? I hope just fabulous, wow I was so spoiled this week I did not even know what to do with myself, I got like 12 letters and a package!! I am going crazy I hardly had time to read all of it! But thank you so very much I feel so happy receiving that kind of stuff, but im glad you found a cheaper place to do it 100 and 60 dollars is definitely way to much to be spending on packages, I like the 9 dollars a whole lot more !. But man I am spoiled, I just loved hearing your voices! That was quite the treat let me tell ya, and only 2 months more till I can call you! That is just crazy it is going by so fast! I hope I can find time to at least write back a little to all your letters I don’t have much more time on pday we are always so busy on this day it is crazy!! But like 8 different people wrote me!! Crazy right. I cant even remember half the stuff you all said to me cause I had to read it fast but what I do remember is tell rhino work out all he wants he will loose every last drop of it on the mission lol. I am glad all of you enjoyed your time at lake Tahoe, my companions family went to Disneyland this week and my oh my he is homesick now lol he is angry!! But thanks for all the goodys! That’s good Ryan L got his first baptism and Kris is in the office in his mission, that’s impressive, right now we reactivated 2 more people so 5 reactivations and 6 baptisms in total  We are doing very well but things have been slowling down cause we are suppose to work on finding less actives and not investigators so our baptisms are slowing down. But all is going very well. We ate some pizza at one of the members houses and wow it was so good, it made me think of your good cooking!! The members are having us over for ice cream one day this week so we are excited for that ! We helped paint A members house Amanda this week haha by the way they loved your letter that you all wrote her, we translated it for her she just loved it!! You should be receiving my package within the next 2 weeks!! I hope you love that a ton. But yeah that is crazy Chris almost has a year out wow lol it doesn’t feel like he has been out that long. That’s about all that happened this week, I hope I have a better story to tell next week. and the other was just for fun. We cleaned our house spotless today! Thats cool that that Ditto is teaching Scotty how to play basketball that will be a miracle lol jk, dall good job with the wrestling keep it up, you let rhino know I will always be stronger than him lol. But wow there are so many words that I need to learn in Spanish lol some of the people we teach talk about like witchcraft man my head was spinning in circles lol I could not pick up what he was trying to say lol. But this week went by so fast and one more week closer to seeing you all again. Love all of you so very much, Hope your arm feels all better by now britt sounds like it still cant slow you down! Hola Mi Familia

How are we all doing today?? Darren wrote me and said that Nikhil only has one
more transfer left lol crazy right !!! I cant believe Kriz brown and Michael Phelps that is so bad, its funny cause my companion loves Michael phelps like a ton and has a quote of his on our wall that says something like you cant put a limit on anything, the more you dream the further you go lol and he has shared that with a lot of members like before he smoked and now they were like look at the man you told us to follow like his quote lol, they were just kidding though but it was pretty funny. They were like until you smoke pot lol!! Ok now lets get to the details right, I was sitting there in our house this morning and the front office calls and that never happens unless your getting a big change and they said I was being transferred and being companions with elder mortenson from the mtc lol I was like what are you serious lol cause we both are young here and our Spanish Is only so well and they lied and tricked me lol and I am staying here and same with my companion!! So there is nothing new here. This week our light bill some how didn’t get paid and we did not have lights in our house for a whole 2 days lol it was terrible and you would have to go to the bathroom in pitch black and shower pitch black and we used the Christmas tree in our room so we could have a little light lol it was a life saver lol that’s for sure I thought the pictures were sweet what do you think?? WE reactivated 3 people in the church, that it our sectors goal is to reactivate people so that’s al we focus on and we have 3 new ones. Our converts pass the sacrament and pay there tithing it is really just amazing to see Tell Eugene that his cousin Zhanna even writes me and sends me pictures of him and he doesn’t write me. She sent me pictures of them at a wedding which was nice. Tell him im mad at him lol. Elder mortenson wrote me a letter and sent me one for britt ill send it next week cause there is no mail this week that we can send so next week. One of our investigators he is short and a little chubby like 42 years old we thought the guy was harmless you know and it turns out that he got jumped by 2 16 year olders and they had a knife little did I know that he knew karate and all that kind of Jazz and ended up doing this move to knock the knife out of there hands and beating both of them up lol!! He felt really bad about doing it though but they had a knife so I thought that was really crazy !! Our sector has been ridiculous this week with all the catholic parties we get rejected left and right but we keep working hard!! Today we played some hard core ping pong, the kid I plyed with is like number one in chile and let me tell you he was the best I have ever played I beat him still though he got me 3 games and I won 8 !! It was so intense all the pictures were when I was playing all hardcore no joke!! Crazy I was so tired, we played for ice cream and he had to buy us al ice cram afterward s!! I'm glad all of you are doing well safe and happy, good job on the sports britt and dallen  And dallen I am better now at ping pong so bring it big boy. I am glad everything is going well with great grampa at the house especially with Brittany . When ever you read good scriptures don’t be shy to send them in email I have read so much and learned so much my head always hurts lol don’t have to much fun in Lake tahoe without me lol I hope you enjoy the snow I even miss rain so much now!! There was another earth quake last night but I am so tired at night that I barely even felt it lol I am so tired at nights lol its crazy! What else um Im glad you liked my story didn’t have any quite like that this week but there will be more to come. Dallen you better have beaten Kriz at ping pong the other day. Hello my wonderful family!!!, How are we all doing today? I hope just fabulous. That was nice of Elder Smith and Ric to write me lol I was not expecting that lol. Tell them I love them lol. That’s cool you were taught by sign language missionaries! I had the same experience in the mtc, some elders taught us it was pretty cool too id have to say very different. But I don’t really care if Scott and Amie want to make a blog for me, if they want to do it that sounds great with me lol you know me i'm always down for everything. Britt wrote Hill and Mortensen eh lol, I hang with Elder Hill once I week and we have become really really good friends! Tanner peeing in front of the house pic eh lol that sounds pretty funny ha ha cant wait to receive that. I cant believe transfers is this Monday it went by so fast, I have gotten settled in with my companion it will be weird to change. I want a Latino companion though so it will force me to speak perfect Spanish. I can basically say anything I want now but a few times I struggle but everyone can understand me always. Good job of defending yourself Bertney, you should not have to take people being mean to you. But always remember the Lord gets angry when people mess with his people. He will help you be freed from any situation! I cant wait for mothers day too, it will come by before we know it lol that’s so exciting! Scotty just wait till I get home from the mission, you know I will receive the blessings from the mission and destroy you at bowling. Ping pong I am still the same as before, they actually play here a lot surprisingly! I whole lot of soccer. Yes Scotty I love morning studys, its one of my favorite parts of the day !! I know so much doctrine right now I don’t want to even think how much ill know after 2 years watch out Sacramento right. The food here is the same as back home, really its just like the states but I copy, just not as good but the same ya know. When it comes to food, just the hot dogs, which are completos here are better and the bread, the hot dogs are my favorite!. Ditto I didn’t even know that you were working at a different place, but it sounds like it was a good decision to quit, There were trying to bring out the North Highlands side of ya lol that’s funny. Sounds like Dal and Scott have been playing a little excess of pool table eh. That is so many games wow that’s really impressive! I am glad you are all enjoying yourselves though that is so good to hear. I started writing down things during the week that would prob be good to tell you to make things more interesting lol I write them down in my agenda ok so here it goes, I hear Michael Phelps got caught smoking? That is so bad, my companion loved that guy he was his hero he was pretty depressed when the members told us about that. I have had about 40 different people tell me that I looked like tom Cruz lol every where I go here people tell me that even all the missionaries! Everyone always calls me that its pretty funny. We did companion exchanges the other day just for a day and I was companioned up with another gringo. His name is Elder Jolly he is in the pictures I think the one with the phone not sure, I spent the night at his place and took a few pictures, We were sleeping and he is on the 4th floor of a building and in the middle of the night there was an earthquake! I had never felt anything like it in my life lol it rattled our whole house for a whole minute we were freaking out loll. He has only 6 more weeks than I do and we were able to run a sector by ourselves with no problems so that was exciting for us to know. I could understand almost everyone. Now the grand story that you will love. Me and Elder Jolley could not get into any doors for such a long time, and it was really hot, 4 hours of knocking doors ya, and we decided to say a prayer at the park where no one was and ask for some help to help someone out ya know, we wanted to make someones day, After the prayer we just were walking randomly not knowing were and we ended up at the place we had already knocked every door on the street, we decided to just knock one again and as we were knocking I lucked up down a street and there was a guy pulling slowly out of his drive way and there was a 3 years old playing in the road, The guy in the car did not see him and he had knocked the little guy 3 years of age and didn’t feel it and and I saw this and I ran and screamed over there will all I had to get the driver to stop, lets just say that all of the kids body was under the car except his head, he barley missed the tire and the person stopped from my yelling, one more second and he would have totally crushed the kid, the kid only was left with a scratch on his chin and the people came running over there screaming especially the person driving the car. The lady watching the kid fainted and she never caught conscience the ambulance came and picked her up everyone was crying and I had saved that kids life and a lot of depression that night. Also from the power of prayer. It is true when the say God has angels in the world! We could not think for the rest of that day. Later one of the members was at the hospital with them and the guy driving the car was there and told the member that if it was'nt for me he would have ran him over. I Hope you enjoy that story, it definitely strengthened my testimony about prayer. Hello family ¡! How are we all doing?? Haha and don’t be scared mom to count down the days lol I have a calendar myself that I x off everyday  new month just started  Brittany I don’t like hearing about injuries you better heal yourself right away before you do anything else! NADAL WON yes lol I was wondering how he was doing lol that is so sweet. The fruit here is good to tell you the truth though I like the fruit in the states a lot better and the water here tastes nasty also ! I always buy water! This computer is so bad lol I am getting very angry. I may not be able to send pictures if it doesn’t work! Some lady wrote me in our ward back home she said she has 82 years named evelyn J Swartz it was a nice letter  Kris and Pamela came by lol that is funny doe's Anita want to write me lol, that’s nice of them. I have random dreams about al of you and my old work its quite weird lol. Yeah I just passed the 4 month mark lol kind of a big deal yeah. The have a huge sale this week and I mean once a year kind of ordeal I took a lot of money out to buy you stuff especially the 2 bday boys this next month so don’t spend to much money at home cause im going to send stuff. Like the best deals you can find lol!! Im sorry I cant answer a lot of the stuff right now cause the comp it really not working well but I got a lot of details to tell you about the pictures lol. First off I performed a baptism this week !! He asked me to do it and I said I will go I will do lol that was quite an experience for me, the heater for the font doesn’t work so it felt literally like the snow water lol, we froze to death but it was so great his name is Victor Nacho Prieto! Cool right, thought you would like that, For my Christmas money I had to spend it all on rechargeable batteries because it will get really expensive after a long period of time so hope your happy they are really expensive to buy the whole thing but I do it for you  I got a letter from the Bowmans today ! that was nice to read! Richard Jackson sent me an email lol, I played 6 people in ping pong on the street the other day cause they called us out and I played them if I beat them, we teach them a lesson and I beat all of them and they would not let us teach them we were angry. All those people in my sector all like 12 .I beat everyone of them in ping pong today lol it was so fun, some of them are so good. I barely beat them they play better here! We played soccer last Monday and my calves got so sunburned it stang for a few days lol, ouch right
. The Catholic week is this week so we cant talk to like anyone cause they have huge festivals and dance to the virgin marry like I mean 1000's of people and its right in front of my house lol, there is a pastor next to me and that picture was his marry right in front of our house also lol.

They claim that they received the gift of tongues but they cant understand our English lol, they say the gift only works in the morning lol they try to fight us a lot. My friend had a bad bathroom experience a while back on the mission and it made me think of Eugene on the way home from Ghost mountain that one day remember lol, he made dad pull over lol, good times. The other picture is of me watering the lawn lol, we have to water it everyday which I don’t like doing, makes me angry.
But Britt I don’t like the injury you really better take a week off. And now my pictures wont send wow I am angry I have good ones too what the heck, don’t know what to do. We don’t have any baptisms now but transfers is coming up really soon crazy right, it went by really fast. Maybe ill get a new comp that is Latino, that would help my Spanish a whole lot !! Hello best family in the world ¿? How are you doing today, I am going to start reading one at a time of your emails and answer every ones questions in a row now ok  Ill start with MOMMY ;) valentines gift eh …. Yeah they better celebrate valentines here lol I would not know how to ask that in Spanish though lol, the word Santa clause here is even way different it is crazy. And the schools here are the same as at home. But summer is right now here so all the kids are home which I like a lot cause its really fun teaching kids . But
yes I always try to be as happy as I can be, my companion is a little moody like sometimes not happy so he has a hard time dealing with someone who is always happy lol but I always cheer him up, I cant work proficiently if I am not happy! But with the language its hard for me to show my real personality so they don’t really get the full me and its hard to focus all day on what there saying to but they know I'm a very happy person. ELDER SMITHS LAST TRANSFER that’s crazy lol I bet he is excited to go home dang. That’s cool you will get to meet his family! Its crazy I am almost at the 4 month mark lol, it doesn’t sound like a whole ton but it feels like I have been here for ever lol, at the end of the 2 years it will feel like I have been here my whole life! Keep me updated with the tennis lol it was on at a members house and I just about died lol I was like NOOO lol I wanted to watch so bad but I didn’t! Yeah we have potential for a lot of baptisms right now thank goodness one this week on Friday if things work out the way they should, we have 3 other baptism dates but the people are of the world, the word of wisdom will be hard for them but we are buying them replacement stuff to drink so they wont have excuses to drink the other stuff lol, but they are very nice. Yes the adversary tries to tick at you every single day here! He tries to get in your head, but he cant do anything if you don’t allow him, you just have to be patient and not let anger into your life and your set ! But the singles ward beat mission oak! Oh no that is no good, don’t play if you will get hurt, I don’t want you hurting, we need
you up and around walking! I can teach so well now lol better in Spanish than English guaranteed lol funny right. Thanks ditto for the little hi  hope your first few days of school go well. That’s awesome yourbball team is killing everyone, keep it up, get them all on tape for me ok areyou scoring a lot of points also ? I'm sure your just leading the team. And yes Dallen I have been playing a lot of ping pong usually 2 times a month sometimes in the mornings on our knees for gym if we have time lol. I got some good pictures this time of us playing soccer today for all of ya  I had 8 goals, I am getting really good at soccer now surprisingly. Tell Demaci I will beat him
when I get home lol. Hope your bowling with Scott was fun  I have not received your picture yet though  But yes me and my companion are great  And now, this week went by quickly we have a lot of progressing investigators but some of them we will have to wrestle with to really make our point but things will work out for sure. I started parting my hair lol I hope you like the pictures lol I kind of like the parted hair lol. What do you think. missionaries(elder Jolley) next to me said he loves Brittany from the pictures lol. I got sunburned a little today cause we played a lot of soccer, man I am getting out of running shape lol, all the people we played with thought I was from here, lol that’s pretty impressive right, they say I look exactly like a Chilano we have 2 family nights tonight which should be fun. Hello mi familia 
How are we all doing today ¿? I hope just fabulous, I was angry last week cause I wrote you a letter, but we didn’t have a meeting so I was not able to send it so I am sending it tomorrow with 2 in it ok ;) But yes I am ok no need to ever write the president lol and also remember he doesn’t know English either so if you write him he could not understand it anyways lol. But we cleaned up our house pretty nicely right now and it looks actually quite descent I have to say  That is awesome for Robert Lloyd  Every one is going to be speaking Spanish together when we all get home lol fun right. You all should be studying up on the Spanish to though ! That is awesome you have digital pictures of me !! I have not gotten many new sweet photos yet  We have not traveled very much but I know we will eventually. Tell Elder Smith I love him lol do you see him much ? How long has he been out seems like a long time now no? Yeah I was uneasy about the fire too but every person here was doing it too so I knew than it was ok . But yeah I have officially been in Chile as long as I was in the mtc that is really weird wow ! I have not received your package yet either  I have been working on my patience so its ok it can take its time lol. I have 25 scriptures memorized now and I have no clue what they mean in English lol. 70 degrees it hot for ya eh haha if you could only know how hot it is here lol the people here felt the dogs are in the sun all day and they look dead because they just bake in the sun all day!! Like us lol. The pizza was a one time thing, my companions brother gave him 10 dollars for Christmas to buy a pizza here cause he said he loved doing that on his mission so he sent some to him! There are 4 mill pesos here which is like 9 dollars in our house ! Not to bad right. I am glad though I joined the Lords team, I have learned so much it is crazy especially with learning a new language it opens up more space in my head so I learn things faster which is great but very tiring a times. Thanks for the prayers I had so much more energy this week with out pills!! No joke I don’t know how but I feel your help for me. Dallen 4th place! The Eddenfields are number one lol but sounds like you did good.And your sick? Boy you better fix that right away or else we will have troubles. TOP 3 ON THE TEAM not bad big boy keep it up. Tell Randy I play more here so be ready for me lol I played with a guy in the ward who is known here for ping pong, I beat him 5 times in a row! I still got it lol. You all and Great Grampa sound like you all will be having fun for the next 3 months lol. But yeah there are a lot of pretty girls here, but britt I keep my eyes away from the girls there all trouble and they make you loose focus, that’s why I only write my family  But I doubt you would like the guys here sorry lol and they don’t know any English lol Who all has asked about me, I have not received a letter back from Flax? How has he been? Tell all of my friends britt get on there case for not ever writing me lol isn’t that messed up lol. Ok Funny story time I wrote this in the letter today also lol. There is an English professor who lived in the states for a long time and we were teaching him and his family and he asked me to offer the prayer in English lol and I almost couldn’t do it lol. I forgot like how to pray in English lol crazy right. There was a lady here that we contacted and she didn’t know Spanish only English and my companion tried to do the contact in English to her and he could not do it lol he had never tried to do a contact in English before lol, it was so funny. We found 9 new investigators this week and were hoping for at least 4 of them to be baptized with in the next 2 months so that’s good. Spanish is still tough for me though lol its hard even to like ask to get change for money lol they talk to fast it is ridiculous lol. I hope all of you enjoy the pictures and the emails I wish I had more pictures but we only take pictures on pdays and we don’t go very far to take them. Hello My wonderful Familia
Sorry i know you prob thought no email for this week!! But we had are pday during Tuesday this week because we had the zone conference yesterday my second one!! YAY right lol time is starting to go by a bit quicker its weird to think I have been in Chile almost the same time I was in the mtc, isn’t that weird!! Yeah they have energy stuff here that I can buy  Sorry if my English is bad its hard for me to type in english with all the Spanish taking up all the space lol. But 45 dollars for an envelope that is ridiculous geeze, after this you wont have to send me anymore stuff ok  I received the Chabras package today ;) it had a bunch of snacks in it. Tell them I said thanks ill send them a letter soon. I am glad you all like my drawings lol, out of inspiration lol. I like the idea of waiting for me before planning vacations lol, always remember that lol. Yeah college would be good for Brittany but all I know is that when I get home it wont matter cause ill be there and protect everyone  No one will be able to stop me. But great grampa is staying for a while lol dang, he is taking a long vacation is he staying with you? I got your letters today  I will write back today in a letter there was definitely some interesting stuff in that one lol. This month and the next month are the hottest months here! Just keeps coming and coming but I wish it was hotter  bring it on. Brittany and Dallen it sounds like you 2 are basically ruling the court! I am so proud of you too you have no idea. I cant wait to get home and play with you, you have no idea. I have been working out harder in the mornings  no to much jogging but I have definitely been upping the reps try to get more muscle but my face is getting skinnier. Dallen you tell that Ryan if he doesn’t answer his phone, he will get the wrath of Kyle Eddenfield upon him lol. I have never taught so many lessons in my life, I never realized how many different things missionaries need to know and teach, its crazy, for every person you need a different scripture to suite there needs, I have my scriptures marked very well though, you will see when I come home, people get scared when they see them lol ;) But I am so proud of all of you ! I I really have been so blessed to have the best family in the world, nothing can take us apart. I have 22 scriptures memorized now in Spanish lol, and yes I don’t even know them in English lol that’s going to be a prob after the mission lol. But mom I wish your theory of more hair more height is true, but by the looks of it right now lol I prob shrunk a little bit lol. Now the pictures the fire one was my companion and the other missionaries made, and yes the zone leader was apart of it so it was not against the rules, I didn’t help though cause I thought it would be but than I saw many people doing it in the street so I knew for my self it was all right, it is a tradicion here to burn a muneca and it was pretty sweet lol I hope you like it. I ate my first pizza here lol we decided to order a late night snack one day lol it was good  We got a new kid in our room who plays for BYU FOOTBALL he is big and he wanted to see some wrestling moves so I showed him a special one lol I know you like that picture lol. We decided to nerd me up one night to take a picture lol priceless right . The other is Elder Valgas cutting my hair and a picture of my last distict ;) My companion has dreams out loud in Spanish about us teaching lessons in Spanish lol it is quite hilarious. At like 2 in the morning I wake up hearing him teach lesson one in Spanish lol isn’t that hilarious haha. It happens almost everynight lol. We should have 2 more baptisms but the lady has a man living with her so they need to get married or separate lol that will be a tough one. But thanks for all the letters

We keep finding spider friends in our house lol, we bought raid and cleaned out under all of our beds to kill them lol. Hello Mi familia  Coma esta?
My español is getting even better during this week . Let me tell you though
lol my enemy right now is alarm clocks lol its so hard to have energy during the
whole entire day! I doze some times lol but I am still working as hard as ever I
have memorized like 12 scriptures in Spanish now not going to do much good for
me after the mission lol but i am trying to memorize as many as I can. Thank you
so much for sending me the card I cant wait to receive it! I miss having money in
my wallet! And yes transfers were today and he tried to scare us really bad and
we did get transferred into a different district, but we didn’t move houses or
anything, nothing changed but the people in our group. My companion is the
district leader now crazy right!! But yeah I would not mind vitamins for energy
cause I want to be more focused during the day so I can understand all the
people and what I need to teach and its really really hard to when you are
always so tired from the heat! But I didn’t have to give a talk last Sunday,
but this Sunday I have to give another one! Just my luck right. I gave a
blessing in Spanish the other day  which was really hard but it went very
well. Ill tell you more spider stories after the mission ok lol jk but yeah they
live with us  they are our friends I have not seen one in my bed yet thank
goodness right. It is scary to sleep at night knowing they are there though right
lol. And no that girl doesn’t speak English there is only one person that I have met
here that knows English lol its rough. Dad that was nice of you to teach that
investigator, we had an investigator come to church the other day BY HERSELF we were
so excited that she came, it really makes a difference when the members welcome them, the
members here talked with her and she was so happy and I was happy also cause I
have a hard time talking in Spanish lol but yeah always watch for new
investigators. BBALL IS STARTING I miss playing basketball so much you have no
idea lol everyone just plays soccer here lol no basketball I wish, but yeah
that’s good I can rest this season and play when i get back when you have recovered.
By the way yes my fore arms and my face are so tan you have no ides I have the
biggest tan lines, everyone here thinks I am a Latino I am so dark! No joke. I
am getting skinnier though I started teaching the elders wrestling moves in
the morning to wake them up faster lol. I always get up quickly  The elders
in our room got transferred so now its just me and Elder Rodee no one else. We
have really become best buds though, we are very similar. DITTO I am so glad you
had fun at the concert! I am so jealous lol I miss my music so much lol I am
going crazy cause the people here may not speak English but they like English
rap and I hear it and get so angry lol.That's good you have been going to the gym,
here they fast 24 hours. 1 to 1 and we work at that night in the heat, if you
can imagine, but the Lord provides for us. Its getting hotter and hotter, January
and February are the hottest months here so keep me in your
prayers, we have 2 more baptism dates that we hope go  through, this sector
didn’t have a baptism for the last 1 year and now we have 5 so we have been
working our hearts out! I really can honestly say I hate dogs! There are so many
here and they come at you sometimes and try to get us but we pick up rocks and
scare them off lol, we are definitely fine, we know what streets are safe and
which ones are not. Sorry I cant send pictures this week, the place here
doesn’t have an outlet ( I have some cool ones to show you
from new years, new years was just a average day of work lol, a little sad yes
but after our work we did something fun which I will send pictures of next
week But all is well, no problems I am healthy and happy, I love all of you
so very much you have know idea. Thanks for all of your support and love for me
cause that is what keeps me working as hard as I can. I want to be the
missionary my family knows I can be  Thanks for everything if you need or
want anything just let me know and you will get it 100 fold. You are seriously a
blessing in my life and I always show everyone my pictures, not all  the
missionaries because they get a little excited to see Girls lol so I keep them
from them ha ha but everyone else I do  Que mas ahhh a cat keeps getting in or
house and going into the other elders room and taking there garments and putting
them in our neighbors houses lol terrible right, the neighbor brought them all
to our house and was like my cat took these lol it was a bit embarrassing though.
One thing I though about during the week, Dallen stay away from girls no kissing
girls until I come home lol, I felt sick to my stomach thinking about that lol,
watch that boy carefully.Always watch Brittany she is tough to follow I know lol
but keep an eye on her, Krystal and Scott, no kids until I come home please lol oh
that would kill me lol wow. Mom Dad, just keep being the best and make sure family
night is alway sheld, IT IS A COMMANDMENT lol. LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU LOVE YOU en

HOLA ME FAMILIA

I am spoiling you with pictures this time feel really lucky. Ok to answer
all questions first yes the baptism went amazing. Her name is Javiera and her
parents are drug addicts and she lives with her grandpa who is inactive and we had
been teaching her for a while now and she is only 11 by the way!! She comes to
church with us without her family she is amazing Dallen would love
her!! She is so smart and cute I sent a picture of her but its not the greatest. The mission
gets harder and harder everyday!! Its getting harder and harder to find people
to teach. Some days we go the whole day without teaching one person!! Its so
hard to stay focused when your out walking around for all day in the heat. Each
day gets hotter and hotter I hear January and February are the hottest months
too crazy right!! We have a few investigators that may be baptized in 2 months
or so they are just not wanting to go to church so we'll have to really hit the
topic Sabbath day hard and the importance of it and they will come.Yes I have
taught every discussion every commandment lol some are hard to do in Spanish
lol but I can do them all. Tell Grandpa thanks and that I love him too!! And tell
Luke to write me soon that would be nice to get a letter from him. For Christmas
we stayed at the nice members house and I took pictures of it for you. This is the
best members house, they are awesome. I did companion exchanges and took some
pictures on the mountains. That’s how my sector looks like but not as close to the
mountains. Nice pictures though
right. That is how it looks around it lol crazy right. You would not like living
in these houses lol but there are some nicer areas also. Yes and for New Years
I'll get to hopefully find a person to teach lol prob no members house but we
need new investigators. The people here all think I'm Latino lol its so funny.
They are mean to my companion because he looks like a gringo lol its pretty
funny. But yeah we get a lot  of rejections but this really really drunk guy gave
me a random hug the other day lol it was crazy. But I hope you like the
pictures of the spiders lol I thought mom would like to see what could be living
in the house lol. Those are in our house lol, But don’t worry they are not
poisonous  At all lol but they are pretty scary lol ill have to say that. But yes
that was so amazing getting to talk to all of you. The best Christmas present I
could ask for thank you so very much. I played ping pong today lol I have more fun beating Dal and Scott though than the people here lol. That’s for
sure. Good job with the basketball!! Sounds like you are both doing extremely
well. Get the confidence up as high as you can so when I get home I can crush
it.  Now I miss bowling a lot lol I want to play so bad lol I have never seen
a alley here though! I would die to play. Dall that’s a good boy to prepare for
polo. I could see you being very good at that sport. I Have never had any ward
activities or anything!! This New Years Dall and Britt I don’t want to hear
and kissing stories ok lol and especially Dallen he better not like girls until
I come home cause that would be weird to think that lol.. seriously though,
troubled kid lol. Moms a big bad Sunday school teacher lol that is so tight
specially teaching Tanner, that cute little thing. Wow I am spoiling you with

lol lose extra weight for me lol cause before I know it I may have to start
dieting lol jk I'm staying thin. Another story, I had a Latino companion who
doesn’t know any English and he said it took him a whole month to b able to
understand the Chile language lol and Spanish is all the kid knows lol so you
can see how I feel a little bit lol. But this is all the time I get. I love

Hello my family :) how are we all doing. first things first I think someone
stole my visa card so cancel that right away. If you have seen someone take
money out of it in the last week or so or take more than 40 dollars out make
sure to cancel and send me a new one lol. I was so angry when i realized it was
gone because i had all my cards in my drawer in my desk and all of my other cards
were there and not that one and I have only used that one once so try to send me
a new one quickly :) To tell you the truth I fell like my Spanish is getting
worse lol it is still so hard. My companion said everyone doesn't understand
anything for a while so he said just to relax and stay happy lol I talk to Elder
Hill and he has a Latino companion that doesn't even speak English and his
Spanish is worse than mine lol. That's all he hears is Spanish too so that's a
little bit of a sample how hard it is lol. But yes I am still doing great. Pdays
are like our busiest days actually!! Don't have much time at all to do anything
surprisingly. Today we played soccer with the whole sector in which they are all
Latino and very competitive with soccer so that is fun. Some of these pictures
are of me with our baptisms:) we are really having success there which is really
nice. Some pictures of families house we have eaten at. The park where our district
played soccer and had a barbecue for the first time. There is a zoo at
the park that we stopped by which was pretty cool lol. I am doing better in
Spanish , baby steps lol but everyone says I speak well. Its just hard cause I
have never taught any of these lessons in English before lol. Yes I received
your package today:):)!! i just loved it and we took the tree and my sock and hung
them in the room and took a picture for ya lol :) and the tie. I was hoping I
would find some power bars in there lol thank you so much.We will BE CALLING YOU
AT 6:00 our time on Christmas eve to tell you what time to call us on Christmas.
We get an hour to talk on Christmas :) so make sure you answer I will call the
house phone. Get your calling card ready to call me too by the way ok. I hope
you get my package soon also sorry it is not great i didn't have a lot of time :(
Ok story times lol OK so this week I ate something that my stomach didn't
agree with. I never stopped working lol but I could barely walk my stomach hurt so bad
lol I went number 2 like 20 times that day lol i was not feeling good. But no worries I am all
better 100 percent now lol no worries about that. Other funny stories, we had a baptism after church and my companion left the water on too long again during church lol and flooded the hallways of the church again during church and everyone saw lol it was pretty embarrassing lol. The person the old guy I'm sitting by in one of our pictures is one of our converts.
He just received the Aaronic priesthood :) Amazing story time yesterday we were
having a hard time getting in doors and we decided to go to a persons house we
had contacted the other day and when we got there a lady and her daughter older
ladies were sitting on a porch and they were happy to let us. We found out
her husband had died and it was the other ladies son and they were crying and
we helped them and and taught lesson 2 to them and we are meeting with them
again this Sunday :) so that went extremely well. Am going to read the whole
Bible by the end of my mission and the Book of Mormon again obviously lol. I am
trying to drink more water everyday lol its just so hot here its ridiculous.
There is not one house in this entire place that has air conditioning crazy
right. I am so proud of you Britt and all in sports keep it all up. I want
pictures lol. I have not opened my wrapped present yet though lol I am excited
for that one :) This computer is really acting up I really hope this gets to you
I am having a lot of problems with it. But I hope you have the best Christmas
ever I sent a letter for you and the friends last week so you will get it in 2
more weeks. I am doing just fine I am always tired though cause we work so hard
all day in this heat but I make sure I make every minute count :) I love you all
so much and tell chuck rhino kriz and flax I love them too and they better be
there on Christmas ok. Make sure to do family night tonight before anything else
ok it is a commandment you know lol. Hope you like my pictures and my stories

Hello Family ¡!!
I have just know received your first letter from dear elder! That is how long
it takes to send stuff just to let you know. I still have not received any
letters if you have sent any but that is ok as long as i am getting these
emails! I don't have a ton of pictures this time because we only can take
pictures on our pday and we didn't have anything to do. I finally got
the opportunity to play a sport since the whole time I have been here! We played
soccer for like an hour. Lol we have been so busy its crazy but i am doing so
good. I am so proud of you Dallen and Brittany with your sports. I wish i could
be there to watch!
But I know you are doing great. It makes me so happy to hear that. Updates…. I like the food here actually lol not bad at all not to many things i have not enjoyed. Our mamitas food is not good at all so its hard for us cause we only have 2 meals a day breakfast and lunch and she feeds us lunch so we are making sure she takes longer time to prepare our meals lol! Spanish is still very hard but i do not let it get to me. My company said i am far ahead of all the missionaries who just start out speaking Spanish. But it is still very very difficult for me to understand anything lol. I gave my first talk for 5 minutes in Spanish which was hard during sacrament meeting lol. We had another baptism last Saturday which was a great experience for me. The members again did the baptism for us. Me and my companion are getting along great. My companion during his meeting with our President Urra he said that President Urra said to him that I am going to be the most famous missionary in Chile. That made me feel good. I work out a little every morning but after 2 years its going to be tough to stay lean lol but I'll try. The members always feed us bread and soda lol not a good combo to eat every second of everyday lol but i enjoy it. It is still so very hot here. No houses here have air conditioning so you can imagine how hot it is everywhere you go. We are suppose to put on sunblock every 2 hours because the sun is that hot and causes cancer very easily lol. To describe some of the photos, I was teaching at this families house and all of a sudden this kid makes this weird face at me, I looked at him and was like you know my little brother always does that exact same face to me lol so I met with him today just to take that picture I attempted to do the same face also lol not much success though lol. The one when we were in our bball shorts and ties was a gift for a member in the Ward long story lol but I thought you would think it is funny.
I have been able to see Elder Hill so far during my mission that's about all I
have seen. There is 4 people in our house the other companions are really nice. You would not even believe how much different it is here lol. About 100 times poorer than California. All the houses are really dirty and small but the members are really nice. Yesterday was the hardest day we have had so far lol. We contacted over 150 houses and not one of them let us in lol. We talked to 65 of them and they all gave the same excuse lol but we are trying our hardest. There is no wáter anywhere here. No drinking fountains even in the churches! So you get thirsty easily and never have wáter. One more time you need to call me on Christmas day at 5 o clock here, I have no idea what time it is at our house I think a 3 hour difference but find out some how. I will be calling you on the 24 for 5 minutes to give you the number, plan and me calling
the same time. If there is a better time you would like me to call let me know and I will tell my companion ok. Funny stories, we were having some pretty rough
days. I am doing everything i can to learn the language and to make every happy. I always talk about how happy Daddy is all the time. When ever I see someone cry I just tell them smile my daddy would not allow that lol, but anyways lol I prayed for inspiration on how I can find more people to teach and learn the language quicker and I went to bed. The only thing I can remember from that dream is beating daddy at arm wrestling lol ¡!! I knew that dream was too good to be true and I told my companion I thought it was hilarious. I have only seen 1 person here that knows a Little English lol. So many little punk kids always yell cuss words at us in English and I just look at them like Do you even know what your saying lol. I have a pretty embarrassing tan line from my collar of my shirt lol. When I wore my regular shirt for a bit today i was embarrassed fromit lol. But yeah still have not seen a whole lot of people with all their teeth lol. People always breast feed in public it is so disgusting. Even during our
lessons they do it lol. So many people try to kiss us on the cheek and we have
to like Dodge it its crazy lol. I dont know how to say I cant do that in Spanish
lol its great. Tell chuch rhino and kris flax i said hi. I have not gotten a
letter from them in a while. I miss them too. I have never been more tempted to
swim in my life since i have been here lol, the day i come back we are going
swimming first thing lol. We have another baptism this weekend I am hoping we
have been teaching this person for a while now and they have to go to
church 3 times before they can get baptized so we try to get them to come but its hard sometimes. Its really hard to serve here but I make sure I keep a smile and enjoy every second of it. I love you all so very much i cant even explain it. I
keep pictures of all of you in my scriptures so I can see them everyday. Thanks
for everything and all of the great examples you have been to me. I can honestly
say that I have been blessed with the best family in the whole entire world and
you know it too. I always brag to everyone about you and how close we are. If
you need anything from me let me know. I will make sure it is done. I hope you
get your package in a decent amount of time. They tried charging me 38 dollars
for it you will laugh when you see how light it is. I looked at them like they
were crazy and so i did it for 15 dollars to get to you in 3 weeks. But keep on
smiling and having a good day. Make sure you do family home evening every Wednesday. It is a commandment lol and it really strengthens the family. I love you all so very much you have no idea.

Hello my wonderful family!
They really have cut me down on the time i get to talk to ya. On the 24 of
December I'll give you the number you Have to call me on ok so get yourself a
calling card to call me ok. Once again keep the calling card you will be calling
me ok lol. But this week was hot and tough. A lot of the people would not even
give us a chance. It was hard getting into peoples houses! But after hard work
and prayer we really felt help from your prayers and the spirit because we could
not find anyone than all of a sudden we really really just touching the peoples
hearts. Here are some pictures for ya. I hope you enjoy them. The little red
house is mine and the church is so nice here its crazy. Its weird cause all the
houses are so small and torn up. The people are humble here which is nice. There
are millions of Catholics whose priest tell them not to listen to us but
we change there hearts once we get talking. Spanish is still pretty tough lol!!
There is always words that i don't understand and the people don't have teeth!
Like i have only seen a few older people who have teeth it is hard to understand
them lol crazy right. But they are so nice. I didnt get a lot of shopping time
for you so i got all of you one simple thing i hope you get it within the
month. The mission is hard but there is no reason why you should not have a
smile on your face. I'm always happy and doing what ever i can. I may not speak
the language well but there is not one person who passes me without me saying
something about the gospel.Funny story time lol So it was fast Sunday and this
lady stays home from church to cook for us , she said she prayed and asked for
permission lol but anyways so we eat a delicious meal after fasting from 1 o'clock the day before till 2 the next day and its time for dessert! This is one
of the favorite snacks they eat here its called asituna i think and let me tell
you lol i thought i was going to pull what the missionaries did in our house and
throw it up! It was the foulest thing in the world and my companion said its
rude not to eat it so we had to lol we were dying lol. He said he eats them all
the time and gets sick every time lol so that was funny to me. WE have been
teaching well once we get into houses we are on fire with the spirit and
heat of course lol. Teaching the commandments to our investigators perform baptism is
hard lol. I have never taught the law of chastity or any of them in English so
you can imagine my struggle in Spanish lol. Its great but I always seem to say
what needs to be said I am so proud of all of you in sports keep writing about
them i love hearing them. I am excited for the package lol i have not received
any mail yet. it takes 3 weeks to recieve and send so you have not even gotten
my mail yet. But i love it here me and my companion are doing great. Just no air
conditioning at all lol. I have 90 dollars I'm going to send home cause they
wont change it to pesos so I'll just send it home and take out from my account so
don't worry if you see me take money out ok? If you want give me some things
you want me to send you and ill send it. There is a lot of cool stuff here so if
you want something tell me now so i can look for it. Its much easier that way.
What else, um i almost played ping pong today for my first time but
disappointingly i was not able to hopefully next Monday. I had to walk 4 miles
to write you so feel very special. All the other internet places by our house were
closed so we walked here for you. I knew you wanted to hear from me. I got
everything I need here. I found the internet cable in my bag. My companion has
been out for 1 year now and he speaks perfect Spanish I got a good 2 more months
till I'll be really good, I still have to think of how to say things lol. But
keep on doing good and BEING SAFE!! I dont want to hear any special stories ok.
Keep me updated and hope you love my pictures. Don't tell too many people to write
me on here cause it takes from the time I can write you just to warn you ok lol.
I love you all so much i hope you get my letters and package withing the month
and the money will be wrapped in the gift just to warn you. I'll call you the day
before Christmas 24 and tell you when I'm going to call. Love you have the best

I wrote it all out and it got deleted i am so angry lol. But I am doing so well and the only thing you need to worry about is if I die from the heat lol my oh my is it so hot here and cant even put into words how hot it is. Me and my companion are getting a long so very well. The plane ride was ridiculous but amazing. It was a 26 hour flight and We taught the whole time , we had people ready to get baptized on the plane lol, but I only got 1 hour of sleep and I was so tired dying off that little sleep!! But than I had a bus drive for 9 hours with my companion that next night. Sleep defiantly was needed. So the first while I was so tired and I have now recovered. During my first lesson my heart was pounding so much lol you have no idea. The language they taught us in the mtc was not even close to the language they have here. I could not understand one word and I was so tired but I taught well and testified and promised blessings. The members here are so nice. They don’t have much money but they give everything they have for the missionaries. The houses here are small and poor, our house is small and dirty and old lol but I like it. You don’t knock on doors either, only yell hola and hope they come out to the door lol its so crazy.
My president is so nice and doesn’t speak any English so his interview was definitely a challenge for me. Good stories we have been teaching so well andgot a lot of interested investigators and also we had 2 baptisms this week!Amazing right. The bishop did the baptism though. More story time, when youhave a baptism its your responsibility to get the room ready and the font. ITtakes 2 hours for the font to fill up and we felt(My companions idea lol) andcame back and it overfilled lol the water was all over the hallways. We werethankful it was tiled floor so it was easy to clean up. It was definitely cool. The language is so hard here but I am learning it fast. I had a talk my first Sunday and I just went up and did it and everyone loved it. I really have been having success. A lot of investigators have big potential on baptisms also so I am so excited to help other people have the opportunity to live with there family and heavenly father after this life. I have a mamita here who brings lunch over Mon-Friday I know spoiled right lol. Also they don’t eat dinner here;( so only two meals a day so I only eat breakfast on my own which is always cereal which is easy for me. I am doing so well so no worries here. There is no air conditioning in our house so imagine how I feel at night lol I just die but it is great. I definitely got lucky to serve here. It is definitely tough serving a mission though and I always keep a smile where ever I go! The food here is good, members spoil us so far. We teach a lot everyday. My companion is from Utah and is nice, I was the only person in the group to get a English speaking companion so I lucked out. I have been doing great and I hope all of you are doing great also. It is nice and hot hot! Sorry I didn’t right everyone individually, my message got deleted after I had written the hole thing I was angry but I got time to write a little. Love all of you so much
